Nagoya University Mail System【End of Service】

While a member of Nagoya University (students and teaching staff members, etc.) is enrolled in Nagoya University, "Nagoya University Mail Service" is the service to which the mail address which can be used is offered. A mail address is USERID@*.mbox.nagoya-u.ac.jp. (* is 'a' and an alphabet of 'b' etc..)

Nagoya University mail system have been discontinued. Please use THERS mail.

Schedule for discontinuance

From Monday, September 6, 2021 ・The mail that arrives at Nagoya University mail is automatically forwarded to THERS mail.
 After that, until the end of March 2022, the emails sent to Nagoya University emails can be viewed by either Nagoya University emails or THERS emails.
From Monday, November 29, 2021 ・Access to webmail becomes multi-factor authentication
From Friday, April 1, 2022 ・Prohibits SMTP transmission and IMAP / POP reception from off-campus
 You will not be able to send and receive from off-campus with email software.
 Only Webmail can be used from off-campus.
・Prohibiting transfer setting screen display from off-campus
・Automatically forwards only from Nagoya University mail to THERS mail, and does not save newly received mail in Nagoya University mail.
 Only emails received before April 1, 2022 can be viewed with Nagoya University Email.
We will not forward the mail to the forwarding destination set by the person in Nagoya University mail.
・You can send an email by Nagoya University email
・We will stop issuing new Nagoya University emails.
From Monday, April 3, 2023 Nagoya University mail will be discontinued.
All the reading and sending of e-mails will be disabled.
・If you are still enrolled, your email will be automatically forwarded to THERS mail only. (For the time being)
